In the right place at the right time.

Most law enforcement train their whole life for this.

We often bring you the bad news - the worst society has to offer.

We're happy to bring you the good news.

A story of a state police officer who got there just in time to save a young man's life.

West Virginia State Police Corporal C.J. Weekly responded to a Wood County home Tuesday night.

When he got there two family members were screaming for him to go in the back room.

That's where he found a man hanging.

He immediately cut him down, but then he had to open his airway.

Corporal Weekly saved a life.

Corporal Weekly said the most important thing was getting him the medical attention he needed.

And he took him immediately to Camden Clark Medical Center.
