A couple teenagers find themselves facing felony theft charges.

Washington County investigators tracked the case from Lower Salem to an apartment in Belpre.

A week long investigation now has 19-year-old Branden Ramage and 18-year-old Kyle Hesson behind bars.

The two face charges of burglary and possession of criminal tools after deputies say they broke into a home on Germantown Road in Lower Salem through an open window.

The sheriff's office says they stole gold jewelry, a coin machine, a digital camera and a jigsaw, then sold some of it to a local jewelry shop.

Sheriff Larry Mincks says in the spring and summer these crimes tend to rise.

Each suspect accused the other of being the one that entered the home.

They were both also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies say they found six marijuana pipes in Hesson's truck.
