The Gallia County Sheriff's Office is asking for information in connection with the deaths of two young men.

On March 13, 2014, Terrell Hurt, 21, and Tyler Pearson, 20, were found dead in a burning car on Garners Ford Road in Raccoon Township.

In August, investigators released that drug overdoses led to the deaths, but the fire was also a factor.

According to the Sheriff's Office, since the deaths, they have conducted interviews and have been following up on all available leads. They are still looking for information in the case.

The Ohio Attorney General's Office of Bureau of Criminal Investigation, as well as the State Fire Marshal's Office have been assisting in the investigation.

We're learning the names of two people whose bodies were found inside a burned car in Gallia County.

The Gallia County Sheriff's Office says 21-year-old Terrell Hurt of Point Pleasant, and 20-year-old Tyler Pearson of Gallipolis were found dead in that car a week ago on Garners Ford Road just south of Rio Grande.

We still don't know how they died, that's pending autopsy results.

Sheriff Joe Browning says investigators are trying to figure out what started the car fire.

The fire marshal's office and the bureau of criminal investigation are assisting with the case.

The investigation continues into two bodies found dead in a car Thursday afternoon in Gallia County.

The car was on fire and investigators are working to determine whether they died because of the fire.

Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning says the autopsy process on going.

They are looking into dental records and the coroner's office report will help determine whether the fire killed them.

Right now, there is no evidence is indicating anything different but they haven't ruled anything out.

The State Fire marshals office says they are waiting on evidence to help determine the cause.

A car on the side of the road on fire.

Two people dead inside.

The call came in just after 3:00 PM Thursday afternoon of a report of a car on fire on Garners Ford Road in Raccoon Township in Gallia County.

Once they put out the fire firefighters found two bodies in the front seats of the car.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and Gallia County Sheriff's Office are investigating.

Deputies say this fire and death were not caused by a crash.

They believe the two bodies are males.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is assisting with the investigation.
