Two men are rescued on the Ohio River near Parkersburg.
Authorities say they got to them just in time.
It happened around 11:30 Tuesday morning.
The West Virginia DNR says Tyler Jennings and Quinn Porter, both from Maryland, were spotted just north of Blennerhassett Island.
They were on a floating dock with no way to get back to shore.
DNR officers rescued the men, taking them to the Belpre Civitan Boat Dock on a patrol boat.
The DNR says the rescue was dangerous due to the river being high, muddy and full of debris.
The men were cited for not having life jackets and posession of fishing equipment without a fishing license.
They told officials they took the dock from the Little Kanawha River and had plans to float down to the Mississippi River.
