It's the most romantic date of the year. No, not 2-14-13.
For thousands across the country, including Carrie and Justin Milliron of Vincent, 11-12-13 was the perfect day to tie the knot. The happy couple made it official at Marietta City Hall.
For six years, they tried to pick a magic number for their wedding day.
"We had a joke about doing it on 10-10-10, and then that passed up,” Carrie says. “Then 11-11-11, passed it by; 12-12-12 and then we decided on 11-12-13. He has no excuses on not remembering it.”
It made perfect sense.
"Oh absolutely, absolutely -- because I have a horrible problem with numbers and remembering things,” Justin says.
A fun fact.
"After I started thinking about it, I thought that is neat,” says Mayor Joe Matthews. “Then when I called the people and they told me why they wanted to do it today."
It was the right time.
"Just to get it done,” Carrie says.
Should everyone have raced to the altar for 11-12-13?
"No, because it's a special number to us, because it's such a rarity,” Justin says.
After officiating at 1,100 weddings and counting, the mayor sees everything; but this is definitely different.
"I’m sure it's gonna be a long time before we ever see that again,” he says. “It won't be 11-12-13, but it'll be whatever in that particular year."
Beyond the date, new wife Carrie finds deeper meaning in the iconic day.
"Uniting our family as one now."
A date like this will only come around once more in your lifetime, on 12-13-14.
This pattern won't repeat again for 90 years, until 1-2-03 -- that is, 2103. So it's a November to remember.
Many across the country forgot Valentine's Day - Tuesday's special date was the day.

"It was six years ongoing and we had a joke about doing it on 10-10-10, and then that passed up. Then 11-11-11; passed it by, 12-12-12 and then we decided on 11-12-13. He has no excuses on not remembering it," Carrie says.
Beyond the date, the new wife says the best thing about Tuesday was uniting her family as one, including sons Jacob and Lucas.
