Washington County Authorities Investigating Breaking and Entering at Waterford Business

A big chunk of money, stolen overnight from a Waterford business.

Now authorities need your help finding the suspects.

Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks says early Friday morning, someone chopped through the wall at Turner's 1 Stop Shop on State Route 339 in Waterford.

He says employees discovered the break-in around 4:30 Friday morning, and reported that a large sum of money was missing from the safe.

There are no suspects at this time.

The sheriff says anyone who may have been in the area between 2:30 and 4:30 a.m. and noticed anything out of the ordinary should call the sheriff's office at (740) 376-7070.
