A Marietta Municipal Court Probation Officer doing a routine check today, ends up with one of the largest heroin seizures for the Major Crimes Task Force.
Finding heroin paraphernalia and 26 grams of heroin in a Devola home.
At the home of 23 year old, Corey Cowan, probation officers say two other men tried to leave when they arrived.
Officers arrested Cowan. Plus, 33 year old Jeremy Green from Belpre and 33 year old Jermaine Green from Zanesville.
All three admitted to using heroin and knowing heroin was in the home.
They were arrested on a second degree felony charge of trafficking in heroin.
Officers took syringes, two digital scales and a large box of sandwich bags, along with heroin that was packaged for sale and a larger chunk of heroin from the home.
Jeremy was recently released from federal probation and was arrested twice in Washington County for drug trafficking.
All three being held without bond pending their initial court appearance tomorrow morning.
Washington County's Dog Warden also took out a dog and a boa constrictor from the home for precautionary reasons.
