The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating two home burglaries that happened about four miles apart.
In both cases the homeowners were in bed asleep.
Sheriff Larry Mincks says the burglaries happened March 23 on Bellavista Drive and April 6 on Brush Road between midnight and 6 a.m.
At one of the homes the door was left unlocked.
Someone went in and took two purses and a television and walked off.
At the other house someone forced their way through the door and took a couple purses and a television.
The sheriff says the suspect used a debit card from one of those stolen purses at the Vienna Speedway.
They were in a white car.
