A cause for celebration in Williamstown times two.
The 17th annual Celebration in the Park is a tradition that helps fund improvements to Tomlinson Park.
The grant funded event raises money for repair, upkeep and landscaping.
But this is a big year for Williamstown the city celebrates it's 150th birthday much like the state itself.
It's a big milestone for people who call it home.
"I mean everyone is really proud, very happy to be here. That we could actually get everyone together and provide a celebration to ring in the birthday and that we have made it 150 years and have 150 more to go I hope," says Celebration in the Park Chairperson, Leslie Bucina.
The Celebration in the Park committee says the yearly festival is totally volunteer driven.
