Wirt County Schools Superintendent Daniel Metz says students are now back in class after a bomb threat at the high school Wednesday morning.
Wirt County High School received a bomb threat and evacuated the building. Wirt County Sheriff's Deputies and West Virginia State Police did a sweep of the grounds with a bomb dog.
The grounds were deemed safe at about 12:45 Wednesday afternoon and the students returned to the classroom.
Wirt County Schools will resume normal schedule. Buses will run on normal schedule as well.

Wirt County High School is under lockdown.
According to the Board of Education, the school received a bomb threat early Wednesday morning.
