If you'll be submitting an absentee ballot for November's election, your application is in the mail.
Every registered Ohio voter will receive an application for absentee ballots, according to the secretary of state.
More than six million voters will receive their applications in the next few days.
Voters who return the application will receive their absentee ballot around October 7, that's when early voting begins.
Election officials say voting by mail is a growing trend in Washington County.
"We usually find that in Washington County and probably statewide trends that at least one-third of our voters usually vote absentee," says Washington County Board of Elections Director Tara Hupp. "It's more convenient for them. They don't have to worry if they're going to make it. Something comes up and they won't make it on election day to vote."
Another round of applications will be sent in early October to people who registered or updated their information after August 1.
