Heslop, Garold J.

Garold J. Heslop, 85, of Williamstown, passed away at 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday,
June 20, 2012 at The Arbors of Marietta. He was born June 30, 1926, in
Washington County, son of the late Ralph Heslop and Bertha Bush Heslop. Garold
was retired from Kardex and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Vienna,
W.Va.

On November 30, 1949, he married Mary Anna Schaad who preceded him in death. He
is survived by his wife, Ruth Knowlton Heslop of Williamstown and four
children: Judith Ann Eisel of Westerville, John (Bonnie) Heslop of Reno, Donald
(Madelyn) Heslop of Devola and Roger (Joyce) Heslop of Marietta. He is also
survived by his son-in-law, Doyle Daigle of Marietta, twelve grandchildren, ten
great grandchildren and one brother, Austin Heslop of Whipple.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Kay Daigle, two brothers
Merle and Dwight Heslop, and a sister Mildred King.

Services will be at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Saturday, June 23,
2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jon Lands officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn
Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. Friday,
June 22, 2012, with family present from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
