Nancy Rose Davis, 84, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away peacefully at her residence Friday, November 9, 2012.

Nancy was born in Salem, W.Va., a daughter of the late William E. and Cathy E. Swiger Gibson.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Ann Davis; six sons, Sammy, Jamia, Russell, Richard, David and Carl Davis; and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mearl Davis; one son, James Davis; and a grandson, Jeremiah Davis.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg, W.Va. with Reverend Mike Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
