Tallman, Wilma Mae

Wilma Mae Tallman, 77 of Pennsboro, often known as “Wid”, departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 28, 2012. She was born July 29, 1935 at Finch, WV, a daughter of the late William Raymond Schofield and Golda (Mullenix) Schofield.

Wilma was a 1953 graduate of Pennsboro High School where she was a cheerleader. She attended the Pennsboro Church of God, The River of Life Church in Ellenboro and the Riddle’s Chapel in Harrisville.

She was a loving wife, mother and nana. Wilma enjoyed the fellowship of her family and friends and expressing love for her Savior.

Surviving is her husband of 54 years, Charles L. Tallman of Pennsboro, her six sons: Darren Tallman (Sharyn) of Parkersburg, James B. Tallman (Vicki) of Mt. Storm, WV, Michael Tallman of Boulder, CO, Tracy L. Tallman (Peggy) of Pennsboro, Jason A. Tallman (Lee) of Pennsboro and Christopher R. Tallman of Parkersburg.

She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren: Vanessa Tallman, Cassie Tallman, Cole Tallman, Caleb Tallman, Tyler Hansen, Christian Tallman, Maria Tallman, Sean Partin, Trenton Tallman, Caden Tallman, Matthew Tallman and Kaylee Reed, two sisters: Lois Broadwater of Clarksburg and Vonda Taylor (Wendell) of Paden City and a brother Carl Schofield (Kay) of Medina, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Denzil, Freeman and Ro ert Schofield and grandson James Brett “Bretty” Tallman Jr.

Funeral services will be Saturday 11AM at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro with Pastor Dan Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Olivet Cemetery at Finch, WV. Visitation will be Friday 4-8PM and one hour prior to services.
