Hall, Helen L.

Helen L. Hall (68) of Belpre, OH entered into eternal life on Nov. 30, 2012 at home with family by her side. Helen's body was donated to the Ohio State University - School of Medicine where students can learn so others may live.

Helen was born April 6, 1944, in Kanawha County, WV, as the daughter of the late Henry Dennis Gandee and Birdie Martha Gandee. Helen was a devoted and caring mother and a wonderful, loving wife. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist church in Belpre where she volunteered her time and expertise in helping others.

Helen is survived by her husband of 46 years, J. Robert (Bob) Hall; a daughter, Amy R. Swank of Marengo, OH; two sons, Dr. M. Jason Hall of Sherman Oaks, CA and Erin M. Hall of Columbus, OH; two granddaughters, Morgan Swank and Alexa (Lexi) Swank; a brother, Larry D. Gandee of La Plata, MD, many brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by four brothers, D. Carlton Gandee, Henry M. (Bob) Gandee, G. Ray Gandee, James C. Gandee and one sister, Patricia A. Settle and her husband W. Anderson Settle; two brother-in-laws, Charles R. Hall, and G. William (Bill)Trout and a niece, Lisa (Gandee) Joson.

Friends and family of Helen will be received at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 302 Maple St. Belpre, OH on Friday Dec. 7, 2012 from 4:30 to 7:30 in the fellowship hall. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the church on Saturday Dec. 8 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor David Hubbard is in charge of all arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Mark's in Helen's name.
