Mary G. Welch, 85, of Marietta, died Friday, November 30, 2012, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 30, 1927 in Dunbar, WV to Floyd and Hazel Richardson Steele.

She is survived by one son, Edwin Mathers of Seattle, WA, two daughters, Michele Garretson (Gary) of Little Hocking and Monique Maxson (Bill) of Columbus, six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two sisters, and one brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Welch, in 1990 and also by her companion of 20 years, Robert H. Mason, in 2012.
