Morgan, Charles Samuel
Charles Samuel "Sam" Morgan, 83, of Little Hocking, WV died December 5, 2012 at the Camden-Clark Medical Center. He was born November 4, 1929 in Wirt County, WV a son of the late Addison Bruce and Madge Shephard Morgan.
Sam retired from DuPont after forty years of service and was a member of the Marietta Bible Center. He was a lifelong farmer, a hit and miss engine enthusiast having been a member of the Wood County Flywheelers Association.
He is survived by two sons, Chuck (Beverly) Morgan of Little Hocking, OH Bruce (Donna) Morgan of Little Hocking, OH; three grandchildren, Tonya Morgan of Little Hocking, OH Julie Jeffrey of Belpre, OH Jason Jeffrey of Cutler, OH; two great grandchildren, Montanna Morgan of Little Hocking, OH, Matthew Jeffrey of NC; one step-son, Milton Ely of TX; several step grandchildren; one step son-in-law Rick Chidester of Marietta, OH; one brother Phil (Louise) Morgan of Washington, WV; and one sister Wandalee (Frank) Price of Washington, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Morgan, second wife Juanita Morgan and step-daughter, Cindy Chidester.
Services will be Saturday 11:00 am at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Myron K. Guiler and Reverend John Layner officiating.
Burial will follow at Pisgah Cemetery, Wirt County, WV.
Visitation will be Friday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
