Barbara was a homemaker and a US Marine Corp veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. She was a member of the American Legion, DAV, AMVETS, Eastern Star, White Shrine, the Order of the Amarath, The Wood County Democratic Womens Club, and The American Dog Groomers Association. She was also a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church of Vienna.
Surviving is her son, Gary Diclemente, of Vienna, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Matthew Diclemente of Pittsburgh, PA, Jessica Diclemente Retherford of Madison, W.Va., and Rebecca Diclemente Drain of Morgantown, W.Va.; two great-grandchildren, Marcus and Chloe Retherford; one sister, Christine Diclemente of Gallipolis, OH; and one brother, Michael Petty of Lexington, SC.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Petty.
