Funeral Home: Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna

Benson Guy Stutler, Jr., 90 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Dec. 6, 2012 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Facility in Parkersburg.

He was born March 4, 1922, in Reedy, W.Va. a son of the late Benson G. Stutler, Sr. and Amy Duskey Stutler. He was a U.S. Marine having served in both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was an independent contractor building houses, was a real estate broker and owner of Stutler Realty. He loved gospel music and was a member of Calvary Memorial Church.

He is survived by his son, Terry M. Stutler (Sue) of Vienna, W.Va.; a sister, Eva Strothers also of Vienna, W.Va.; a brother, Wendell Stutler of Vienna, W.Va.; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Benson was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma I. Williams Stutler; a son, Benny R. Stutler; and two daughters, Nancy Brohard, and Penny Frazee.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 11, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Tim Stutler officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday. Military rights will be conducted by American Legion Post 15 of Parkersburg at the funeral home.
