Frederick Joshua West, Jr., 75, formerly of Parkersburg died December 9, 2012 at the Villa Angela Nursing Home, Columbus, OH. He was born February 10, 1937 in Wood County a son of the late Frederick Joshua and Dorothy Eagle West.

He retired from the US Navy-TDR. He loved traveling and had been in 40 countries on five continents. He also enjoyed white water and canoeing.

He is survived by one brother, Donald (Leona) West of Parkersburg, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Lee West.

There will be no services.
