He was born Monday, August 5, 1929 in Rinard Mills, OH to the late Ernest and Maggie Hood Lisk. Earl served in the U.S. Army's 45th Artillery Battalion Battery "C" during the Korean Conflict. He worked for The River Gas Company for 38 years before retiring in 1985. He was a member of Sandhill United Methodist Church before joining the Gilman Avenue United Methodist Church.
Earl is survived by his wife Virginia Robinson Lisk whom he married April 16, 1954 in Liberty, IN, sons Keith Lisk of Waverly, OH, Brent Lisk (Kitty) and Craig Lisk (Melinda) both of Marietta, daughter Robyn Stevens (Michael) of Marietta, grandchildren Shawn, Krista, Carson, Cody, and Morgan Lisk, Ashley Stevens, Scott Rieder and Amanda Popovich, great grandchildren Addison Schramm, Mason Whitaker and Bailey Stevens. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Ethel Hupp.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 18th at 11:00 AM at Gilman Avenue United Methodist Church with Rev. Diann O'Bryant officiating. Burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike Street, Marietta.
