Thelma Frances McCullough, 88, formerly of Smithville, passed away at her daughter’s residence in Belpre, OH. She was born March 13, 1924 at Eva, Ritchie County, WV a daughter of the late Charles Gill and Anna (McGill) Gill.

Thelma was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. She, along with her husband was a daily visitor to the O’Neill Center in Marietta and enjoyed going on the bus rides to and from the facility.

Surviving is her husband of 66 years, Ralph W. McCullough, daughters Sandra Somerville (Paul Eliot) of Belpre and Sheila McCullough of Creston, grandchildren Kevin L. Fleming and Daniel McCullough and sister Pearl Gill of Smithville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Clarence Gill and sister Violet Richards.

Funeral services will be Saturday 1PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Interment will follow at the Hardman Chapel Cemetery, Smithville, WV. Visitation will be Friday 5-8PM.
