Merle Otto Hearn, 84, of Uniontown, PA. died at Uniontown Hospital on Friday December 28, 2012. He was born on September 13, 1928 in Lowell, Ohio the son of Raymond Otto and Edith Alma Cline Hearn. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran. On August 9, 1948 he married Evelyn J. Velanis in Anchorage, Alaska and she preceded him in death on September 4, 2006. He is survived by one son Douglas Stewart (Debbie) Hearn of Uniontown, PA.. Step grandsons Chris, Phillip and Joey (Amy) Foster. He is also survived by one brother Lloyd Hearn of Jenison, MI. and one sister Linda Blessing of Toledo, OH. He was preceded in death by two brothers Jack and David Hearn and one sister Mary Lou Hearn. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and are bring handled by Hadley Funeral Homes.
