Rose V. Drotos, 94, of Newport, NC, passed away on January 7, 2013 at Croatan Ridge Nursing Home in Newport. She was born the daughter of Lewis Marlow and Mary Lemasters in Eatons, WV on October 1, 1918.

Survivors include her daughters, Rose Mary (Larry) Jones of Springfield, KY, Mariah Ruth Drotos of High Springs, FL, Joan Drotos of Swansboro, NC and Jeanette Kingsley (Merle) of Swansboro, NC; grandchildren, Wendy (Thad) Bryant of Alahua, FL, Sam (Kindra) Jones of Leitchfield, KY, Jacob Jones of Lexington, KY, Jennifer Drotos of Swansboro, NC, Kris Drumm of Emerald Isle, NC, Mark Kingsley of Swansboro, NC; great-grandchildren, Emily and Jacob Bryant and Jared and Courtney Drumm

Preceding her in death are three brothers, Earl, Roy & Arthur Marlow; and seven sisters, Lucy Sprouse, Maggie Neighbors, Daisy Sams, Ruth Marlow, Edith Riley, Laura Boyte and Hazel Marlow.

A graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Walker, WV.
