Betty was born in Parkersburg, W.Va. on January 31, 1926, a daughter of the late Earl and Ruth Wolfe.
Betty was a 1944 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who made the family gatherings special. She was a homemaker who enjoyed interior decorating. Betty volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital for 35 years. She was a member of St. Marys Presbyterian Church and the Mariners Class. Family beach vacations were her very favorite getaways. Throughout the years she was an avid sports fan.
She is survived by her two sons, Denny (Patti) Wilson of Vienna, W.Va., Joe (Mindy) Wilson of Parkersburg, W.Va., and granddaughter, Laura Lee Wilson of Sunnyvale, CA. Many loving nieces and nephews survive her as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 55 years, Dr. Denver G. Wilson.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Lambert-Tatman
Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, W.Va. with the Reverend Michael Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation will be from Noon to 2:00 at the funeral home on Wednesday.
