He was born April 14, 1932, in Wood Co., W.Va., son of the late Everett and Alta M. Rexroad Pfalzgraf.
Russell was a veteran of the Army National Guard and retired from Local 787 as an Ironworker. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #3, Ben-Bey Grotto, American Legion Post #15 and VFW Post 1212 Parkersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Parsons Pfalzgraf; one daughter, Marilyn (Paul) Ruble of Parkersburg; two sons, Kenneth L. Pfalzgraf of Parkersburg and Donald (Mary) Pfalzgraf of Elizabeth, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Jeff Ruble, Krissy Ruble Welch, Steven Pfalzgraf, Amber Pfalzgraf, Anthony Pfalzgraf, Carrie Aguilar and Michelle Davis; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Rev. David Deem officiating. Interment will follow at Big Tygart Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
