Cathy Rinard, 65, of Newport passed away 6:25 am on January 17, 2013 at her home.

She was born October 30, 1947 in Marietta to the late Russell and Catherine (Smith) Morris. Cathy was a graduate of Newport High School and had worked as a clerk for Newport Water Department. She loved watching Ohio State sports, spending time with her grandchildren, and vacationing at the beach.

On November 6, 1965 she married Roger Rinard who survives with children Chant (Kathy) Rinard and Jeremy (Loura) Rinard and grandchildren Taylor, Katie, Brady and Tyler all of Newport. Also surviving is a brother Rusty (Cindy) Morris of Newport.
