Inez Mae Blankenship 93, passed away at her daughter's in Cairo, Thursday, January 24, 2013.

She was born November 11, 1919 in Groundhog, Wirt County, West Virginia, the daughter of Elza and Blanche Williams Lackhart.

Inez was preceded in death by her parents,her husband George Blankenship, her son Larry Marlin, her granddaughter, Pamela Wilson Wilkes, great-great grandson, Little Eddie, and also one sister, Beatrice Cheuvront, three brothers, Lester, Paul and Vestal Lockhart.

She is survived by two sisters, Carol (Bob) Zinhizer of Ben, Oregon and Helen (Thomas) Bales of Vienna, West Virginia, three brothers, Olin (Lethea) Lackhart of East Sparta, Ohio, Roland (Addie) Lockhart of Sandyville, West Virginia and Ray (Leah) Lockhart of Southington, Ohio.
Two daughters, Deborah Holskey of Cairo, West Virginia and Barbara Wilson of Waverly, West Virginia, 12 grandchldren, 25 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was employed by the Viscoes Corp., G.C. Murphy where she worked the candy counter and J.C. Penny's. She was a longtime member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with the Reverend Calvin (Chuck) Ferrell presiding. Burial will follow after the service at Riverview Cemetery, Williamstown, West Virginia. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, January 25, 2013, from 5:00-8:00 P.m.
