Irene Cain, 89, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed into eternal life January 26, 2013 at Ohio Valley Health Care. (John 14: 1-4) She was born September 24, 1923, in Parkersburg, W.Va., to William Clyde Grimm and Lora Tucker Grimm McGinnis. Irene is survived by her daughters Joan Nowery and Margie (Charlie) Dye; sister, Jerri Cain; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Cecil L. Cain; one son, Cecil L. Cain Jr. in 2011; one grandson; one brother, Ernest Grimm; and several brothers and sisters-in-law. At her request, there will be no service or visitation. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at the convenience of the family. In her memory, do a random act of kindness and keep passing it on.
