Virginia was a member of Second Congregational Church. She played the
piano and sang in the choir for the Second Congregational Church and played the
piano at Little Muskingum Congregational Church. She had been employed at
Central Office Supply, Bonham’s, Kremer’s Department Store and at Community
In addition to her mother, she is survived by 2 brothers and 4
sisters: Jack G. Lockhart of Washington Court House, Rodney J. Lockhart of
Marietta, Kathryn L. Munoz of Marietta, Nancy L. Young of Alberton, MT, Evelyn
M. Seevers of Belpre, Jamie Hess of Marietta and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Jan. 31) at 11:00 am at
McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Richard Saltzwadel officiating.
Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral
home on Wednesday after 2:00 pm with family present 2-4 & 6-8. Messages of
