Dudley W. Daugherty, 69, of Mineral Wells, WV die, surrounded by his family, on January 31, 2013 at Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. He was born December 16, 1943 in Wood County. The son of the late Richard L. and Naomi Mollahan Daugherty.

Dudley was the owner of Daugherty Supply, an active member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, and a US Army Veteran. He was a 1962 graduate of Parkersburg High School and graduate Mt. State College. He was also a member of the Mt. Olivet Masonic Lodge #3.

He is survived by his wife, Linda L. Ball Daugherty; two sons, D.J. (Angela) Daugherty of Commercial Point, OH, David L. (Sara) Daugherty of Hamilton, OH; five grandchildren, Christine, Conor, Oria, Ethan and Emma; and one sister, Linda Lee Daugherty of Parkersburg.

Dudley enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, his friends, his shooting 'buddies', playing golf, his John Deere and most importantly... his family and life.

It is his portion to hear from Him who sitteth as the Judge Supreme the welcome words, "Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter thou into the Joy of the Lord!"

Services will be Tuesday 11:00 am at the Leavitt Funeral Home (Parkesburg), with Pastor Kevin Lantz officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (Mineral Wells) with Masonic Graveside Rites by Mt. Olivet Masonic Lodge #3.

Visitation will be Sunday 3-7 pm, Monday 12-8 pm and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Association.
