Nick Roscoe Blackburn, Jr., 29, of Parkersburg, passed away on February 6, 2013.

He was born in Athens, Ohio on September 11, 1983 a son of Nick Roscoe Blackburn and Karen Bartimus Blackburn.

Nick had graduated from Eastern High School in Meigs Co. and had worked on the cleaning crew at the power plant.

In addition to his parents, Nick is survived by his wife Crystal Dawn Lockhart Blackburn, children Raymond Roscoe, Angel Dawn, David Ray and Nick Roscoe Jr. Blackburn. paternal grandmother Buford Ann Blackburn, brothers Benjamin "BJ", Kevin Ray, Rocky Gilbert, sisters Joanne Ryder, Lyra Blackburn, step sister Brandy Jude Perkins and Retia Lynn Jude, several aunts and uncles including aunt "Sissy" Truly B. Mahon, several cousins, extended family and many friends.

Nick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Helen and Bud Bartimus and paternal grandfather Kick Blackburn.

The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Friday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Visitation will be from one hour prior to the service on Friday.
