Elinor Birch Wingrove, 93, of Walker, W.Va. passed away February 15, 2013 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
She was born September 25, 1919 in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late John Ferguson and Goldie Lightner Ferguson.
Elinor retired from Public Debt and had sold Avon for over 45 years. She was a lifetime member of Marietta Bible Center Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Newell of Walker, WV and Mary Mullens of Hopkinsville, KY; three sons, John L. Wright of Canton, OH, Ross C. Wingrove (Jeanette) of Fleming, OH and Andrew Wingrove (Diane) of Pittsburgh, PA; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Wright Sr.; second husband, Ross Wingrove; one son, Stephen Wright and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Dr. Myron K. Guiler officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
