Helen Naomi Cunningham, 85 of Pennsboro, passed away February 26, 2013 at her residence. She was born November 13, 1927 in Pennsboro, a daughter of the late Martin and Rosella (Meredith) Mossor.
Surviving are her children: Ronald Butch Cunningham and wife Toni of Sistersville, Donald Cunningham and wife Debbie of Sistersville, Dennis Cunningham and friend June Yocum of Little Hocking, Michael Cunningham and wife Bonnie of Follansbee, WV, Kenneth Cunningham and wife Rhonda of Pennsboro, Rosemary Riggs of Pennsboro, Donna Alkire and husband James of Pennsboro, Patty Cunningham of Pennsboro and Judy Cunningham of Pennsboro.
She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren: Helen Stebelton(James), Tom Riggs(Felicia), Rick Riggs(Kim), Doug Riggs, Cindy Riggs, Jennifer Rogers and Kristen Edwards, D. J. Cunningham(Kristen), Brenda Neeley, Harley Alkire(Susan), Megan Craddock(Michael), Micah Knisley(Jennifer), Jason Amos(Selenna) and Daniel Amos(Heather), 19 great grandchildren: Aaron Riggs, Zia Edwards, Kalisa Edwards, Teesa Edwards, Xavier Cunningham, Akascia Knight, Nikki Neeley, Breanna Florence, R. J. Florence, Tommy Riggs(Leona), Kristin Morton(Jason), Teresa Cooper(Tim), Rachel Henderson(Adam), Garrett Jenkins, Jarrett Jenkins, Cameron Knowlton, Allison Amos, Kaci Riggs and Hannah Riggs, and 17 great great grandchildren: Leah Neeley, Lexie Riggs, Tyler Morton, Zachary Morton, Noah Morton, Jayden Morton, Isaiah Guess, Gabriel Guess, Patrick Cooper, Nathaniel Cooper, Jackie Reese, Joshua Henderson, Caleb Craddock, Arionna Craddock, Hunter Knisley, Caden Knisley and Kimmie Parsons .
She Is also survived by siblings: Don Mossor of Pennsboro, Maxine Lewis of Ellenboro and Emogene Blanton of Belpre, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harley Cunningham in 1992, three sons: Harold and James Cunningham and Harley Cunningham Jr., two daughters: Joan and Carlene Cunningham, three grandchildren: Timmy and Jimmy Cunningham and Alicia Riggs, son-in-law Lawrence Riggs and siblings: Geneva Reed, Carl Mossor, and Teddy Mossor
Funeral services will be Friday 11AM at the McCullough Funeral Home, Pennsboro with Evangelist Terry Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Harmony Masonic Cemetery in Pennsboro. Visitation will be Thursday 2-8PM.
