William J. "Bill" Taitt

Funeral Home: Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre

William J. "Bill" Taitt, 61 of Belpre passed away Feb. 25, 2013 at his residence.

He was born December 6, 1951 in Parkersburg, W.Va. a son of the late Billy Joe and Cleta Stanley Taitt.

He was a 1971 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and was retired from O'Ames. He loved woodworking and gardening. Bill never met a stranger.

Bill is survived by his wife, Debbie Crouser Taitt; a daughter, Catrina Beanard (Stephen) of Vienna, W.Va.; a sister, Brenda K. Eakins (Ed) of Little Hocking, Ohio; three brothers, James M. Taitt (Joyce) of Pittsburgh, PA, Robert E. Taitt of Little Hocking, Ohio, and David Taitt of Vincent, Ohio; a granddaughter, Madeline Beanard of Vienna, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio with Chaplain Dave Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Route 339. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
