She was born August 26, 1939 in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of Elton "Woody" Parker and Rachel Irene Morrow Parker.
Edna was a homemaker and retired after 29 years at Nashua Photo. She enjoyed being with her family, especially the grandchildren and watching NASCAR.
She is survived by two daughters, Becky Wright (Mike) of Columbus, Ohio, and Beverly Maxwell (Mike) of Parkersburg, West Virginia; Grandchildren, Megan, Justin, Aaron, Mitchell, and Macy; Great-grandchildren, Trevor and Alex. Three sisters, Carolyn Sue Dugan (also her faithful caregiver), Thelma Baker (Oren), Charlene Hill (Ron) all of Marietta.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Carl "Ernie" Elder; two brothers Gerald and James Leonard Parker; one sister Oma "Sally" Richards; an infant son Keith Elder.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd., Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery of Belpre. Visitation will be 2 - 4 P. M. and 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the funeral home.
