Roy L. Barrett 84, of Vienna, West Virginia, passed away March 25, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Roy was born in Parkersburg February 22, 1929 a son of Dallas and Edna Hall Barrett. He retired in 1967 from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service. There after he worked for 17 years with the Bureau Of Public Debt, retiring in February 1991. He was a member of VFW Post #1212, Elk's Lodge #198, Fraternal Order of Eagles #2307, and Life Time Member of the American Legion Post #15, where he also served on the Color Guard.

Roy is survived by his wife, Charlotte R. Barrett, two daughters and their husbands, Janet & David George and Lori & Michael Shultz, all of Vienna, WV, granddaughter Megan Reynolds, great-grandsons, Ethan and Cohen, sister, Nina Reynolds, and three step-nieces and a step-nephew, he especially loved his cat Trixie. She was his special friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and one brother.

Services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in Vienna, West Virginia, with Pastor Jim Yoak presiding. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg with full Military Rights by the American Legion Post #15 Color Guard. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 P.M.
