He was employed by Fenton Art Glass, was a veteran of U. S. Navy (1954-1958) and was employed by the Salvation Army.
On August 10, 1989, he married Evelyn Hoce who survives with 4 children, 3 step-children, 27 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, 1 step-daughter and first wife, Audrey.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Apr. 3) at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Lt. Eric Henry officiating. Burial will be at Gravel Bank Cemetery with full military services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday after 2:00 pm with family present from 2-4 & 6-8.
