She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle Jane Shields Wade and Gay Wade, Sr., and sister Irma Jean Wade Harris.
Lou loved being referred to as “Mrs. Charles Caldwell” and worked for several years at Crescent Supply in the office and supported her husband in his memberships in the Civitan and Masons. She was proud of her cooking, sewing, knitting and original needlepoint skills. She was always ready to bake a cake or a pan of brownies for friends and family. Her kind spirit and wise advice will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside services will be held in Highland Ridge Cemetery at the convenience of the family. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.mslfuneralhome.com. Memorial donations may be made to Gilman United Methodist Church, 312 Gilman Street, Marietta, OH 45750.
