Madeline Wigal Sutton, 94, of Parkersburg, W.Va. died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at her residence.
She was born March 5, 1919 at Parkersburg, a daughter of the late James and Bessie Hall Wigal.
Mrs. Sutton was a member of Tri-City Baptist Church and had been associated with Young Plumbing & Heating Co. for fifty years. She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and Mt. State Business College.
She is survived by cousins, Alan Wigal of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Ron Hall of California; sisters-in-law, Helen (Don) Lamb, of Vienna, W.Va. and Peggy Sutton of Vienna, W.Va.; a brother-in-law, Bill Miller, of Nashville, Tenn’; and several nieces and nephews.
The family expresses special thanks to Madeline’s “girls”, Wendy, Tracy, Marilyn and Vickie.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Lional E. Sutton, Jr. on February 24, 2012 and by a niece, Judy Dewitt.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg, W.Va. Pastor Joe Ward will officiate and interment will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
