Alissa Dawn Neely, 40 of Pennsboro, Greenwood Community, passed away suddenly July 29, 2013 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. She was born May 14, 1973 in Clarksburg a daughter of Robert Allen Smith (Liz) of Clarksburg and Sharon Bise Warnick (William) of Tunnelton, WV.

Alissa worked for the Doddridge County Board of Education as a cook and worked with the Summer Feeding Program. She was a 1990 graduate of Doddridge High. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids, cooking, baking, Facebook, playing the piano, reading and gardening. She was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and Twilight Saga fan.

Surviving in addition to her parents is her husband Steven G. Neely whom she married May 22, 1998, her maternal grandmother Pauline Bise of Stonewood, her children: Stephanie Sheets of West Union, Michael Neely of Pennsboro, Johnathan Neely of Bridgeport, Cordero Smith of Bridgeport, Alexas Neely of Smithburg, Sydney Gladwell of Clarksburg and Trinity Neely at home.

She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Jarron Stevens, Tyler Smith and Janessa Sheets.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Walter Bise and paternal grandparents Harold and Jean Smith.

Funeral services will be Noon Friday at the McCullough Funeral Home, Pennsboro with Ronnie Knight officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 5-8PM and 10-12 on Friday.
