James S. “Jim” Reaser Jr., 75 of Cairo, Glendale Community, passed away September 1, 2013 at the Memorial Campus of Camden Clark Hospital after several years of declining health. He was born January 10, 1938 in Glenville, WV, a son of the late James Stanley Reaser and Ruby (Shuman) Reaser, 91 of Harrisville.
Jim worked many jobs over the years, most notably as a Milkman for Westfall Dairy. He finished his career as an over-the-road Truck Driver for J. B. Hunt. Jim spent the last four years at Care Haven in St. Marys and leaves behind many friends and a wonderful staff.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his loving wife Louella (Harper) Reaser, son David Reaser and his wife Brice of Glendale, daughter Karen Harper and her husband Steve of Glendale and daughter Debi Radabaugh and fiancé Bob Graham of Morgantown, brother Don Reaser and wife Donna of Lost Creek, WV, and sister Loretta Hopkins and her husband Rod of Parkersburg.
He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, eight nieces and nephews and Louella’s two sons and four grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister and her husband, Connie and Ralph “Tiny” Alkire.
Funeral services will be Thursday 11AM at the Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville with Pastor Tom Hall officiating. Interment will follow at the Terry Cemetery, Glendale. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8PM.
