William Peter Tatro, 89, of Alum Bridge, Doddridge County, passed away November 21, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Detroit, MI, a son of the late Henry Joseph Tatro and Pearl Edith (Notestein) Tatro.
Mr. Tatro was the owner/operator of Tatro’s Meat Market in Garden City, MI before moving to West Virigia. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II, and a member of the Harvest Time Church in Pennsboro.
Surviving is his wife Renuka (Nambiar) Tatro, three children: Rodney Wayne Tatro of Las Vegas, NV, William Dyrke Tatro of Port Saint John, FL and Keith Allen Tatro of Avon, CO, sister Elaine Scott of Plymouth, MI and grandson Rodney Wayne Tatro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Shirley Gray (Johnson) Tatro and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1PM at the McCullough Funeral Home, Pennsboro with Pastor John Kopshina officiating. Interment follows on Wednesday at 11AM at the West Virginia National Cemetery, Grafton with full military honors provided by the Taylor County Color Guard. Visitation is 11 to 1 Tuesday.
