Mary Sue Britton, 61 of Ellenboro, passed away November 29, 2013 at the Memorial Campus of Camden Clark Hospital. She was born December 19, 1951 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late George Bunner and Delma (Layfield) Bunner of St. Marys.

Sue was a homemaker and served as a Councilwoman and Recorder for the Town of Ellenboro. She had previously worked for the Colin Anderson Center. She was a graduate of St. Marys High and attended the Nine Mile Church of God.

Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband of 45 years, Roger L. Britton, five children: Scott Britton (Linda) of Glendale, Pam Britton (Dwayne Kelley) of West Union, Richard Britton (Dawn) of Pennsboro, Phillip Britton (Jessica) of Ellenboro and Jimmy Britton of Ellenboro, two sisters: Nancy Campbell of Pennsboro and Annie Owens of Pennsboro.

She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Joey Lipscomb, and Eric and Miranda Britton, and Trevor, Johnnie and Kelsey Smith and a great grandson, Bryson Lipscomb.

Funeral services will be Monday 11AM at the McCullough Funeral Home, Pennsboro with Reverends Joyce Hill and Ruford Abner officiating. Interment will follow at the Cairo Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 5-8PM.
