Shirley Ann Perkins 74 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus after an extended illness.
She was born September 25, 1939 in Ritchie County the daughter of the late LLoyd and Wilma Lamp Bircher.
Shirley graduated from Harrisville High School in 1957 and retired from Public Debt in the accounting dept. She was a member of The Peoples Church of Boaz.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, the ocean, cooking, flowers and she loved having company.
Shirley is survived by two daughters, Angela (Rick) Gant and Teresa (Rodney) Smith both; one son Matthew (Christina) Perkins all of Vienna; two sisters, Emogene Carpenter of Harrisville, W.Va. and Patsy McCloy of Parkersburg; six grandchildren, Rebecca (Jared) Lowery of Ripley, W.Va., Rachael Gant of Vienna, Chase (Leslie) Smith of Salisbury, NC., Kaycee (Casey) Chapman of Louisville, KY., Austin Perkins of Vienna and Kaitlyn Perkins also of Vienna.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clair Perkins and one infant brother, Denzil Lloyd Bircher.
Funeral services will be held Thursday. December 5, 2013 at 11:00 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave.,Vienna, with Pastor Rick Kappel officiating. Burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery in Harrisville, W.Va.
Visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M.
