Daybreak 10/13/2011: Chef Yancy's Hot German Potato Salad



5 potatoes peeled and sliced into ½ inch round slices
1 medium onion diced
¼ pound bacon
1 tea. Celery seed
1 tab. Salt
1tea. Pepper
1 tea. Granulated garlic
1 cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
¼ cup of corn starch and water


Place potatoes into baking dish, sauté bacon and onions and add seasoning as well as vinegar and sugar bring to a boil and add corn starch and water mix to form a light sauce .Top over potatoes and cover with water, bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until tender.( add extra water if needed to keep moist )
