(AP) --Pittsburgh is known as the Steel City and the city of champions, and today, it's going by the name "Sixburgh."

That's in honor of the record sixth Super Bowl title won by the hometown Steelers. The city today welcomed the team home from Tampa, Fla., and Sunday's win over the Arizona Cardinals with a victory parade.

Thousands of Steeler fans from Pittsburgh and towns far and wide turned out to wave yellow "Terrible Towels" and cheer triumphant team members, who waved from pickup trucks as they captured the sight on their personal camcorders.

Coach Mike Tomlin had a big grin on his face as he mounted the stage to thunderous applause at the end of the parade. He declared "Steeler Nation" had left them all speechless, but then gave a little speech, saying he and the team appreciate all the love.
