The St. Marys girls basketball team beat Wheeling Central in the opening round of the WV State girls high school basketball tournament.
The Lady Blue Devils lead most of the game in Charleston, winning 51-37.
Kelsea Fickiesen led St. Marys with 29 points and 12 rebounds.
The Blue Devils will face the Tucker County Lady Mountain Lions, for a chance to advance to the championship game in the next round.
