For 21 years now the Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon has brought runners together from across the country and around the world for a challenge and a chance for a championship.
Today a field of close to a thousand runners was ready for the Test of a 13 plus mile run.

The third time was the charm for Alene Reta of Ethiopia. After finishing second for the last 2 years in a row, Reta took first place with an 11 second margin of victory.
