Area Players Make College Football Choices

Three Wood County football players are taking their game to the college level, one on scholarship and two as preferred walk-ons.

Parkersburg South's Logan Cox is heading to the University of Charleston.

He signed his letter of intent accepting a full scholarship to the NCAA Div. II West Virginia Conference school.

Logan is expected to play in the defensive secondary with the Golden Eagles.

Parkersburg High School's D.J. Corozza and Williamstown's Nick Meadows are headed to Morgantown as preferred walk-ons.

West Virginia University offered them an opportunity to come to training camp this summer and try to earn a scholarship with their performance.

Corozza is an offensive lineman, and Meadows is specializing as a long snapper.
